Immune Boosting Smoothie

Cold Season is officially here. This sunny golden smoothie is the perfect breakfast pick me up for this time of year, when our energy levels can feel depleted and our immune system needs an extra boost.

Made with Bananas, Mango and Orange, a tasty reminder of summer. I could drink this everyday. Blended with porridge oats, almond milk, ginger, turmeric, honey and probiotic.

I’ll often make a double quantity and then store in the fridge for the following day. So delicious!

Immune Boosting Smoothie Recipe

Serves 4


2 Bananas

2 cups of frozen mango pieces

1 orange squeezed

1 tbsp honey

2 cups of almond milk

1/2 cup porridge oats

1 thumb size piece of ginger sliced

2 tsp turmeric

1 capsule of Acidophilus probiotic


Theres not much to this, it’s very simple and easy and takes less than 5 minutes. Place all ingredients into a blender, and whizz until smooth.

If it gets too thick add more almond milk or water. I like my smoothies quite smooth so I tend to add more water.

Pour into glasses. Top with extra turmeric if you like.
